More about the role:

The Project Manager is responsible for the to lead a successful implementation, meeting timelines and budget requirements by coordinating and prioritizing project tasks, managing timelines, maintaining project plans and communicating with customers, project sponsors and management. This role is further responsible for maintaining consumer satisfaction through the provision of problem-solving resources, and providing customer support, and ensuring that they are constantly providing the best in-class customer services.

Key Results Areas:
  • Project Implementation
  • Responsible for implementation of multiple projects and/or systems in various countries across Africa, and ensuring the KPI’s for these projects are tracked.
  • Review customer product demands, develop project plans and ensure implementations are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure projects are implemented in line with contractual obligations and local regulatory requirements.
  • Design and apply appropriate project management standards.
  • Responsible for compiling project evaluation and analysis documents following each project and sharing with respective departments.
  • May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects and developing proposals.
  • Follow market activity to anticipate new trends and capture business opportunities.
  • Manage future implementations and system enhancements by collaborating with various business areas and system owners.
  • Excellent software skills with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to quickly learn new software modules.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to be self-guided and work effectively and with sensitivity across barriers such as language, culture and distance.

2Project Support

  • Central contact for customer and partner communication. (support/change/upgrades)
  • Provide training to enable in-country onboarding processes
  • Manage all consumer complaints or feedback in a satisfactory manner, resolving all issues within reasonable time.
  • Participates in communication with consumers, investigating and resolving consumer problems of a complex and long-nature as well as high-value customers.
  • Establishes good working relationships with the partners and provides advice to consumers on how best to use the business’s products or services as well as keeping accurate records of correspondence with the consumers.
  • Keep updated on the latest customer support practices in order to keep the business at par or even ahead of competitors in the industry, enabling customer retention.
  • Collaborate with both Product and Development teams to ensure customer feedback is taken into account, releases of the product are communicated to customers and support issues are not repeated.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Information Technology or Project Management.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Implementation or Project Management with successful track record.
  • Experience in mobile money, informal markets or specific experience in a fintech would be an asset.

Our platform provides interoperable retail payments and supply chain financing by combining new digital financial services with existing distribution networks.

Nomanini currently has 25+ staff and is growing 500% year-on-year, expecting to continue scaling up at this rate for the next 3-5 years.
