As a Junior Business Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and nurturing business opportunities to support our company's growth objectives. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue generation and establish lasting relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor strategies.
- Generate leads through various channels
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering solutions tailored to their requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Manage and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives to contribute to the company's growth.
- Provide feedback on market conditions, customer feedback, and product enhancements to the management team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in business development selling financial services and building B2B alliances across relevant sectors.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated as well as being a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
