The Head of Operations is responsible to lead and oversee our company's operational processes within the fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Head of Operations will develop and implement efficient operational strategies, ensuring seamless execution of day-to-day activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies that align with the company's overall mission and vision, taking into account the dynamic nature of the fintech industry.

• Work closely with the executive team to ensure that operational plans are integrated into the company's overall strategic plan, contributing to sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

• Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to adapt operational strategies and remain at the forefront of innovation in the fintech landscape.

2. Process Optimization and Efficiency:

• Conduct regular assessments of existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and technology, to integrate automation and digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual errors.

• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and efficiency, utilizing data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Risk Management and Compliance:

• Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework that encompasses operational, regulatory, and cybersecurity risks, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.

• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary operational adjustments to maintain compliance.

• Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments, providing timely reports to the executive team and implementing risk mitigation strategies where necessary.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

• Provide strong leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation while promoting a customer-centric mindset throughout the organization.

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and knowledge, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary tools to perform their roles effectively.

• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development and career growth opportunities for team members through mentorship, coaching, and regular performance evaluations.

5. Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, marketing, and product development teams, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational strategies with broader company goals.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies, representing the company's interests and fostering a collaborative ecosystem for mutual growth and success.

• Act as a liaison between the operations team and executive management, providing regular updates on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

6. Operations Management.

• Adherence to committed service levels.

• Manage all operational activity within remit to ensure customer satisfaction, adherence to regulations and drive efficiencies.

• Manage policy, procedures, and controls to ensure premium levels of availability for NI customers, to maximize income and strengthen market share, ensuring security of assets at the same time.

7. Leadership

• Provide effective leadership and direction both within the function and at the organizational level to keep employees motivated at various levels and enable them to operate at optimal efficiency.

• Participate in the Executive Management Team to ensure delivery of business strategy.

8. Manage performance

• Effectively lead, train, and communicate with subordinate team to ensure that expectations and standards are met.

• Cascade corporate performance measures throughout the Operations and IT and technology functions and track performance throughout the year, ensuring corrective action where necessary.
